I’d wanted to photograph a wedding at Erosantorini for ages, so getting to shoot Ashley and Sam’s day there was a real treat. It’s one of those venues that’s even more impressive in person. The views are unreal, the atmosphere is relaxed but luxurious, and every corner is a beautiful backdrop for photographs.
Ashley and Sam wanted a wedding that felt modern, stylish and just a little bit sexy, and they absolutely nailed it. From the fashion to the florals and every little detail in between, everything felt effortlessly elegant without ever feeling over the top. It was one of those weddings where everything just worked.
Ashley looked incredible in a beautiful Pronoovias gown with a customised veil, while Sam kept things timeless in a classic black tuxedo. They were so relaxed together, and that always makes the best photographs. There was no forcing moments or awkward posing – just the two of them enjoying every second of their wedding day.
As an Eros Santorini wedding photographer, one of my favourite things about this venue is the variety it offers. You have the dramatic cliff-top views, beautiful Mediterranean gardens, elegant architecture and, of course, those famous Santorini sunsets – the golden glow over the sea was every bit as incredible as you’d imagine.
The whole day had such a brilliant atmosphere. It was luxurious without being stuffy, stylish without trying too hard, and full of genuine laughter, happy tears and a dance floor that stayed busy long after the sun had disappeared.
