When Catherine and Adrian set out to plan their wedding, they had one vision: a timeless celebration that felt like it had leapt straight from the pages of a regency romance. With the charm of Bridgerton as their inspiration and the stately elegance of Grantley Hall as their backdrop, their spring wedding became nothing short of a modern fairytale.

Charlotte and Lewis’s March wedding at Grantley Hall was the kind of celebration dreams are made of! Set against the stunning backdrop of this luxurious venue, their big day was a perfect blend of elegance, romance, and, of course, an abundance of beautiful florals by the incredibly talented Kelly Louise Floristry.

Charlotte looked absolutely stunning, radiating elegance in an exquisite Allure Bridals gown from Dotty Bridal. The moment she stepped into the spotlight, all eyes were on her as she glided down the aisle. The gown, with its intricate lace detailing and soft, flowing fabric, was the perfect blend of classic and modern, flattering her figure beautifully. The delicate sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice added a touch of timeless sophistication.

The flowers truly transformed the spaces at Grantley Hall into something extraordinary. Kelly Louise, with her keen eye for detail and impeccable taste, brought Charlotte and Lewis’s floral vision to life in a way that felt both timeless and fresh. Everywhere you looked, there were soft pastel tones, delicate roses, peonies, and a mix of greenery that gave the whole place a romantic, dreamy vibe.

The reception was where the fun truly kicked into high gear. The energy was infectious, with guests dancing and laughing long into the night and there was even a spectalular suprprise fireworks display.

Chateau De Brives wedding, Lucy and Lee: Capturing Timeless Romance!

I had the honour of flying to the South of France to capture Lucy and Lee’s stunning destination wedding at Château de Brives.

The Chateau

Château de Brives is the epitome of charm, elegance, and romance. As a destination wedding venue, it offers the perfect backdrop for couples looking to bring their fairytale wedding to life. With its sprawling gardens, centuries-old architecture, and intimate atmosphere, it’s a dream come true for any couple seeking a grand and stylish wedding venue! For wedding photographers, Château de Brives offers a treasure trove of opportunities to capture unforgettable moments. From the first look to the first dance, every detail of a wedding at this venue provides a stunning backdrop.

The ceremony

The ceremony was held in the cute little chapel opposite the chateau. Inside, the chapel’s interior was bathed in natural light streaming through stained glass windows, casting a warm, colorful glow over the ceremony. Rows of wooden pews, lined with delicate floral arrangements, created a cozy, intimate space where close family and friends gathered to witness Luch and Lee exchange their personalise vows.

The reception was held outdoors in the glorious sunshine with alfresco dining after the emotional speeches. As golden our came, we drove to the nearby sunflower field to create some magic before heading back to the chatueu to capture the last of the evening light.

A destination wedding at Château de Brives is truly a photographer’s dream. The magical setting, the emotional moments, and the timeless romance of the venue all come together to create a perfect story. For any couple looking to have their dream wedding, Château de Brives offers an unparalleled experience. I can’t wait to go back to this dream venue but for now, here’s some highlights from Luch and Lee’s perfect day.

A glamorous, modern celebration for Shauna and Alan!

Shauna and Alan’s day was a spectacular mix of family, fun, glamour and the most incredible wedding dress! Shauna choose a Galiav wedding dress for her big day. She said, “I love my dress because I think its really different, I love the high neck and the back is my favourite part. The detailing is stunning and the sleeves are a big feature of the dress too. I am detaching the skirt for the first dance and rest of the night and I will also be changing my hair too!” Galiav wedding gowns are known for their fusion of timeless elegance and modern sophistication. Crafted with intricate details and luxurious fabrics, each gown embodies a unique blend of classic bridal charm and contemporary design elements. Perfect for the modern bride with a love for classic glamour just like Shuna!

The Venue

Powerscourt Hotel is located in the heart of the scenic Wicklow countryside in Ireland, is a five-star luxury destination known for its stunning views! It’s surrounded by lush gardens and the majestic Sugar Loaf Mountain which you can see in the photos below.

The couple opted for a black tie wedding. A black-tie wedding offers a level of elegance, creating a truly memorable experience for both the couple and their guests. The formal dress code encourages guests to don their finest attire, adding a even bigger sense of glamour and exclusivity to the wedding!

The wedding day

I asked Shauna to tell me a little about her thoughts on the wedding. She wrote,”Its quite a large wedding so I want it to feel like a big celebration/party. I just want people to enjoy themselves throughout the day and night. Our entertainment is upbeat throughout the day so it should feel like a party all day! Although we are throwing a big wedding we aren’t great with the spotlight on us. We are both quiet and are nervous of the amount of attention the day will bring! I am really really nervous to walk down the aisle this is why the first touch is so important to me just knowing that Alan will calm me before I do walk down.”

The first touch photo of Alan and Shauna’s is one of my favourites from the day – it’s such a special moment!

Sanaz and Tom’s Grantley Hall Summer Wedding… It was back to the Incredible 5* Grantley Hall for this beautiful wedding day…

Grantley Hall Summer Wedding…

This stunning black tie summer wedding at Grantley Hall was beautiful from start to fininsh. The weather was perfect for the outdoor ceremony which was filled with white and pale pink flowers. It was such a dream to photograph! The florals filled the wedding breakfast room too and Sanaz and Tom sat amongst them surrounded by their family and friends.

More about the day…

Tom told me a little bit anout themselves and what they were hoping for from their dream summer wedding!

“Sanaz is shy but deep down quite fiery and doesn’t really love having her picture taken (which is crazy to me as she’s a stunner!) I’m the opposite (a lot more extrovert) and don’t mind having my picture taken. As a couple, we’re both ambitious and we are lucky to have created a great life together which we are eager to build upon.

Our wedding will be fairly small and intimate with close family and friends. Florals are quite modern but the vibe of the wedding is classy / timeless. We aren’t keen on things being too staged or forced when it cmes to the photography. I really don’t like heavily staged wedding photos, it just feels really awkward and unauthentic. We prefer more candid photos. We like old Hollywood glam style photos. Quite dramatic pictures etc. Detail shots / close ups etc.”

With their love for Old Hollywood glam style photos, I made sure to use my direct flash, especially in the evening! This created those timeless images they were keen to have and they both looked stunning! Harlaxton Manor Wedding Photography, Hugo & Hannah… An Extravagant Wedding at Harlaxton Manor: A Fairytale Come to Life!

Hanna and Hugo were married at Harlaxton Manor – with its jaw dropping architecture, amazing gardens, and so much history, it really is a venue straight out of a storybook!

Every detail of this wedding rwas perfection—this is what a wedding at Harlaxton Manor offers and this day was a dream to photograph. From the moment you arrive up the long drive, you are greeted by the magnificent Manor, a blend of Jacobean and Elizabethan styles, making it one of the most breathtaking venues in England. This Victorian manor has been the backdrop for countless events, but few compare to the splendour of an extravagant wedding such as Hugo and Hanna’s!

The Dress…

Hanna wore a Suzanna Neville gown which oozed modern elegance and timeless sophistication! Hannah was drawn to this dress in particular as it was a perfect balance between classic and contemporary, making it ideal for our fashion-forward, modern bride! With subtle embellishments and a structured fit, Hannah exuded effortless grace and style. Finished with the most beautiful lace veil, Hanna looked like a real life angel!

Hugo and Hanna say “I do” in the Great Hall, with its ornate stone fireplace, towering ceilings, and huge opulent chandelier. This space, with its rich history and grandeur, served as the perfect location for their ceremony.

The wedding breakfast was held in Harlaxton Manor’s Long Gallery with it’s exquisite marble floors and hand-painted ceiling. Modern Heritage styling and Gigil and Bloom provided the florals an incredible styling. We used the Gold room for the backdrop for the cake cutting, champagne tower and a “Mob shot” at Hanna and Hugo’s request – how amazing do the bridal party look?!

This wedding is definitely one I’ll remember for a long time! Here are just a few highlights from this beautiful day…

Winter wedding at Grantley Hall

When Harriet and Harrison envisioned their dream winter wedding, they wanted a day that combined timeless elegance with a fun, modern twist, so Grantley Hall was the perfect setting! This five-star luxury venue offers a stunning backdrop that felt both grand and intimate for their special day.

Harriet wore a sleek, classic gown with a modern side split and an incredible veil that caught the winter sunlight beautifully. Harrison looked so handsome in a tailored velvet tuxedo.
The ceremony took place in the nearby church and Harriet and Harrison exchanged heartfelt vows in front of their closest friends and family. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the orchard whilst Harriet and Harrison slipped away for modern, editorial style portraits around Grantley Hall.

Dinner was held in the Grantley Suite, which had been transformed into a candlelit wonderland. Guests were treated to a five-course meal and the singing waiters provided amazing entertainment!
Sparklers outside were so much fun and the band kept the dance floor full all night. Harriet and Harrison’s wedding at Grantley Hall was a celebration of love and luxury and so much fun!

A fusion wedding at Euridge Manor...Bringing together both Malaysian and English traditions.

A fusion wedding at Euridge Manor, beautifully blends two cultures at the stunning Euridge Manor. With its romantic gardens, historic architecture, and breathtaking views, Euridge provided the perfect backdrop for this unique celebration of love, heritage, and tradition!

The day began with a traditional Malaysian tea ceremony, where Mekki and Howard honoured their elders in an intimate and emotional ceremony. Mekki dressed in a traditional red and gold cheongsam, symbolizing luck and prosperity, while Howard was in classic black tie, Family members and close friends participated in the tea ceremony and there were so many tears! It was a very emotional ceremony.

Following the tea ceremony, Mekki and Howard then had a flower filled outdoor ceremony with all their guests. Mekki changed into a classic white gown, blending her Malaysian heritage with Western traditions. The ceremony took place overlooking the lake, boathouse and rolling countryside.

Dreamy portraits in the grounds followed the ceremony and then it was onto the amazing speeches and none stop dancing! What a beautiful day full of so much love. Here’s just a few highlights!

Flying to Mexico to photograph Wafa and Joey’s wedding at an ancient hacienda, was nothing short of magical! From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a unique experience and it’s a wedding I’ll never forget! They flew from LA with their family and friends to marry at the ancient Hacienda de Cortes Cuernavaca.
The day began with an emotional first look between Wafa and Joey. Set against the hacienda’s ancient walls and gardens, the moment was so intimate and heartfelt. Wafa walked toward Joey, and when he turned round, his expression was priceless! The sunlight filtered through the leaves, creating an ethereal glow and I felt privileged to document such a special moment.

The ceremony took place in one of the huge caves in the hacienda’s grounds. The natural stone formations created a stunning, intimate setting that felt almost otherworldly. After the ceremony and the amazing speeches, the festivities continued with a reception that definitely embraced the spirit of Mexico! A mariachi band played getting everyone in the mood to dance and I loved capturing the colours and all the energy!
One of the evening’s highlights was the performance by talented belly dancers. Guests joined in and the tequila was brought out! The party continued late into the night and yes – I most certainly joined them!

Photographing this hacienda wedding in Mexico was a real highlight of the year for me!

Izzy and Sam were married at Grantley Hall and had all their family and friends along for the ride!

The morning was particularly special as it involved all the children! How cute are they all getting ready together! The kids played a big role in the wedding and were involved right up until party time!

The party went long into the night with The Function Band proving the amazing entertainment! They serenaded the guests during the wedding breakfast and got everyone up to dance – along with a bottle of Jägermeister!

Fireworks, live musicians, and the most epic night club party followed the wedding breakfast. What an epic day! Proving you can still have a child friendly wedding with a party atmosphere!
