Tulum, Mexico Wedding Photography
Overlooked by the ancient Mayan El Castillo, the white sand beaches of Tulum, Mexico are the perfect place for romantic wedding photography. Cally and Michael looked right at home here during their wedding shoot overlooking the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean sea.
A romantic destination for a Tulum Mexico wedding
The beautiful Maxanab Hotel played host to our shoot. I can see why hundreds of couples choose to get married in Mexico, Tulum specifically each year. The scenery is just gorgeous and the weather, well that was just something else!
The tourist season falls from January to March so if like these two you want a beautiful quiet elopement or wedding in Tulum it’s best to travel to Mexico just before the tourists stream in. I prefer November as it’s not too hot! We got the run of the beach and it made for picturesque Wedding Photography. Thank you beautiful Tulum for your boho vibes and gorgeous Caribbean light I couldn’t have asked for a better setting.
Getting Married in Mexico?
I would one hundred percent recommend getting married in Mexico. There’s just something so special about the place. It’s steeped in rich Mayan history and with such friendly people and gorgeous scenery. If you’re going to get legally married in Mexico you’ll need four witnesses and a host of other things. But if it’s just symbolic and you’re planning on jetting off just the two of you. You can plan the most beautiful blessing. You just need a tourist visa, your perfect dress and maybe a traditional Mexican wedding cake (what’s not to love about a cake soaked in rum and filled with pineapple, nuts and coconut?!) Plus if you want your Mexico wedding photography to be epic, why not invite me along for the ride?…
