Wedding Photography at The Woodman Inn Huddersfield – By Anna Beth Photography
Being a Huddersfield Wedding Photographer I am always on the look out for fantastic Wedding Venues in the local area. When I decided to coordinate, style and photography my own styled bridal shoot, I chose a venue which I knew would be perfect – especially for the theme. So the location for this Boho Bridal themed shoot was at the beautiful Woodman Inn at Thundersbridge, Huddersfield. The Woodman Inn is a lovely wedding venue nestled in a pretty woodland setting near the picturesque village of Holmfirth in Huddersfield. Surrounded by forest and a lovely river flowing by, its the perfect setting for a woodland bridal shoot!
As I used to be a portrait and fashion photographer, it was great to coordinate this styled shoot and get back to my fashion photography roots!
We started the bridal preparations in the lovely Thunderbride suite – a beautiful bridal suite set over two floors with all the comforts you could ever need! Jen Eachus was our incredible make up artist who set out to create a polished but pretty look on our beautiful bride for the day – Leela Tikadar.
The amazing flower crown and wild bouquet were handmade by Lily Blossom Florist in the nearby village of Marsden, around 8 miles from Huddersfield . Lily Blossom florists create truly beautiful bouquets, center pieces and floral arrangements for small, intimate weddings to grand, large scale events. The flower crown is really lovely alternative to the traditional tiara/ hair piece and suited the boho woodland theme perfectly!
The sun was shining in the gardens of the Woodman Inn and what pretty gardens they are! The wild flowers, beautiful river and surrounding forest make it perfect spot for bridal portraits and couples photographs after your wedding ceremony.
Thank you to everyone who was involved in the shoot:
