Anna and Ben’s intimate wedding ceremony at the Hotel Capodimonte in Sorrento was nothing short of magical.
Set high above the sparkling Bay, the rooftop terrace offered sweeping views of the Amalfi Coast, Mount Vesuvius casting a gentle silhouette in the distance. The ceremony was personal and heartfelt, attended by just their closest family and friends.
After the ceremony, they enjoyed drinks and canapés on the terrace, and I took them for a few photos with the incredible bay in the background.
We then headed into town and wandered through the narrow cobblestone streets of Sorrento for their couples portraits. We had such a fantastic time stopping for limoncello spritz along the way! Everyone congratulated and cheered as we walked through the town.
Our walk ended at the bustling Marina Grande, with the fishing boats and waterfront restaurants. As we reached the harbour’s edge, a spontaneous cheer erupted from a crowd of locals and tourists. Strangers clapped and street musicians serenaded them! It was such a magical time, and we had lots of laughs whilst we wandered through the marina and onto the small beach.
Then it was time to head back up to Hotel Capodimonte for the intimate dinner on the terrace. The day was perfect from start to finish and I can’t wait to go back to photograph more weddings here!
Here are a few photos from their beautiful day…
