A luxury wedding at Grantley Hall
As a wedding photographer, I get to witness some truly beautiful celebrations—but this luxury wedding at Grantley Hall with Inayat and Bobby is one I’ll never forget. Yes, it rained all day (classic British weather!), but that didn’t stop the magic from unfolding inside one of Yorkshire’s most elegant and exclusive wedding venues.
Grantley Hall is one of those places that takes your breath away the moment you walk in. The interiors are just as impressive as the grand exterior—perfect for those rare rainy days when we can’t explore the grounds. Luckily, this couple embraced it all with such grace and joy, and honestly, the entire day felt like something out of a modern fairytale.
The floral design for this wedding was next level. Think lush, romantic arrangements in soft whites, blush, and hints of greenery. I loved the statement piece around the ceremony and the incredible table centre peices in the wedding breakfast room.
After a heartfelt ceremony (with a few happy tears!), the couple and their guests enjoyed champagne and canapés in Orchard whilst we took some couples photos. The whole mood was joyful, intimate, and full of energy!
Later, the energy completely shifted as the evening kicked off in true Grantley Hall wedding style. With live music, surprise entertainment (yes, there was a saxophonist, DJ, drummer and balerinas who all got the crowd going!), and the most amazing first dance, the night turned into a full-on party. Everyone was on the dance floor—from the newlyweds to the grandparents. I had so much fun capturing all the laughter, twirls, and spontaneous dance-offs.
One of my favourite moments of the day? Taking some indoor portraits by the amazing fireplace and in the chandelier-lit hallway. The soft light from the rain outside gave everything a romantic glow, and honestly, you’d never know we didn’t step foot outside. It’s a reminder that no matter the weather, your wedding can (and should!) be absolutely unforgettable.
