When it comes to modern destination weddings, Antonia and Craig absolutely nailed it. Their beachfront wedding in Marbella was the perfect blend of fun, fashion, and Mediterranean charm. From a stunning ceremony overlooking the sea to cocktails hour at sunset, their big day was every bit as relaxed and stylish as they had hoped with the help of the amazing wedding planners Sunshine Weddings.

 

 

From the beginning…

Set at a stunning sea front venue on Marbella’s iconic coastline, the vibe was effortlessly cool. Think beautiful florals, palm trees and that dreamy ocean backdrop that made everything feel like a scene from a magazine shoot. A beachfront wedding in Marbella already sounds like paradise—but Antonia and Craig took it to the next level.

The day kicked off with a relaxed morning at a nearby villa, where Antonia got ready with her bridesmaids in matching robes and plenty of laughter. Her dress was a total showstopper— intricate lace, backless, high neck and with a veil that caught the breeze perfectly. Craig looked live a movie star in his white tuxedo.

This was a beachfront wedding Marbella couples dream of! After saying “I do,” the celebration flowed into an outdoor cocktail hour with fresh seafood, local wines, and live  music. Everyone mingled as the sun dipped lower over the Mediterranean—pure magic.

But the real fun began when the DJ kicked off the party. Antonia and Craig surprised everyone with a huge prosecco tower followed by their first dance that led straight into an all-night celebration. Dancing barefoot under the stars? That’s exactly the kind of energy you get from a beachfront wedding in Marbella.

Every detail was curated to feel both luxurious and effortless. From the floral styling to the sunset lighting and the perfect playlist, the couple focused on what mattered most—great food, amazing people, and a setting that spoke for itself.

Matt and Kevin’s wedding at Powerscourt Hotel in Ireland was one of those rare events that felt effortless, fun, and genuinely full of connection. They flew in from New York with 170 of their closest friends and family, turning what could’ve been just a destination wedding into a full-on celebration that felt personal and grounded from start to finish.

From the beginning…

Powerscourt is one of those places that really lives up to the hype. The views of the Wicklow Mountains, the clean lines of the hotel, the calm it seems to hold even on a packed wedding weekend—it all worked! The ceremony took place outdoors with Sugarloaf Mountain in the distance. The weather held (a win in Ireland haha), and the atmosphere wasamazing – emotional vows, a few tears, and a lot of smiling faces.

The reception brought the energy up several notches. Inside the main house the wedding reception as set up using long banquet style tables. The speeches hit that perfect mix of funny and meaningful. And the dance floor? It was electric! These guests did not come all this way to sit down all night.

What stood out most was how natural the whole day felt. No forced traditions, no overly choreographed moments—just two amazing people throwing a great party for the people they love, in one of the most beautiful spots in the country.

I had the honour of flying to the South of France to capture Lucy and Lee’s stunning destination wedding at the stuning Château de Brives.

 

 

From the beginning…

Château de Brives is the epitome of charm, elegance, and romance. As a destination wedding venue, it offers the perfect backdrop for couples looking to bring their fairytale wedding to life. With its sprawling gardens, centuries-old architecture, and intimate atmosphere, it’s a dream come true for any couple seeking a grand and stylish wedding venue! For wedding photographers, Château de Brives offers a treasure trove of opportunities to capture unforgettable moments. From the first look to the first dance, every detail of a wedding at this venue provides a stunning backdrop.

The ceremony

The ceremony was held in the cute little chapel opposite the chateau. Inside, the chapel’s interior was bathed in natural light streaming through stained glass windows, casting a warm, colorful glow over the ceremony. Rows of wooden pews, lined with delicate floral arrangements, created a cozy, intimate space where close family and friends gathered to witness Luch and Lee exchange their personalise vows.

The reception was held outdoors in the glorious sunshine with alfresco dining after the emotional speeches. As golden our came, we drove to the nearby sunflower field to create some magic before heading back to the chatueu to capture the last of the evening light.

A destination wedding at Château de Brives is truly a photographer’s dream. The magical setting, the emotional moments, and the timeless romance of the venue all come together to create a perfect story. For any couple looking to have their dream wedding, Château de Brives offers an unparalleled experience. I can’t wait to go back to this dream venue but for now, here’s some highlights from Luch and Lee’s perfect day.

Eve and Patrick’s dreamy Tuscan wedding was an incredible day to photograph. From Eve’s handmade custom dress by Thread the Spool to the Private Villa Belvadere, nestled in the stunning rolling hills. Eve and Partick flew out there family for a week before the wedding. Wedding preparations got underway a few days before with Stems Design from Yorkshire flying early to work her magic with the flowers. The handmade flower arch was spectacular!

Eve is a fellow Yorkshire woman and many of her suppliers such as Kelly Hanks Hair and Natalie Kate make up flew over from Yorkshire to help create the dream wedding. Now more about the dress! Eve described the hand made master piece…” It is BOLD! Not something I thought I’d ever wear, I thought I may have gone quite ditsy and simple. I have had made from scratch quite literally a dream dress. (I designed this dress in a dream & drew it to be made). It’s A line, puff sleeves, a big train, low back and VERY sparkly.”

As night closed in the dress really did sparkle under the fairly lights that decorated the whole outdoor space. Guests ate alfresco and partied the night away fuelled by prosecco and ice cream from the cute Ice cream car! Just once of the many cute details. Eve and Patrick said “We both really get a lot of joy out of the little details of the day ie name places, limoncello favours, (I am working on making a newspaper as a secret to Patrick, we are having a movie screen for the kids, beer pong, Italian Mille feuille cake, gelato truck etc.”

It was such an honour to work alongside Made to Last films who was so much fun to work with! Eve is a photographer herself so really had a vision!

“We love the mixture of your natural relaxed candids or candid looking images & the occasional powerful posed shot! Whether candid or posed your images are very powerful, peoples faces seem to be very fresh and bright, we love your choice of colours when it comes to editing & the way you use natural light on peoples faces. I’ve also heard lots of lovely things about you as a person Hannah! Were here to have fun & get daring with the shots if there’s anything crazy you want to try!”

…And boy did they make it an incredible day to photograph!

Capturing Love in the Clouds: Chuck and Shannon’s Elopement in Positano

Chuck and Shannon eloped from the USA to the enchanting town of Positano! I had the honour of capturing their intimate elopement in this beautiful town on the Amalfi Coast. For Chuck and Shannon, this picturesque town became the backdrop for their photos and whilst many seek out bright sunshine for their photos, the overcast skies and rain created a dreamy atmosphere perfect for capturing their love story!

With only a close family as witnesses, Chuck and Shannon exchanged heartfelt vows at their villa before we made the decent into the town. They strolled hand in hand through the winding, colourful streets, the lush greenery and colourful buildings popped against the muted backdrop. The cloudy skies added an unexpected touch of magic to the day!

We said our goodbyes on the beach and the couple headed off for a romantic meal – a perfect end to their day in Positano…

An Unforgettable Journey: Photographing an Elopement Wedding in Joshua Tree National Park

As a wedding photographer, I’m fortunate to capture love stories in some of the most breathtaking destinations. Recently, I had the unique honour of being flown out to Joshua Tree National Park for an intimate elopement wedding. Alissa and Quinn eloped to Joshua Tree with just their close family and friends to get married amongst the parks incredible surroundings.

Joshua Tree is an ethereal landscape with its dramatic rock formations and the most amazing desert flora, it really created the most stunning backdrop for Alissa and Quinn’s elopement wedding. The couple had chosen this remote location for its unique beauty and isolation, the  a ceremony that felt connected to the earth. It was a small gathering, with only close family and friends present. The intimacy of the occasion, combined with the jawdropping landscape, made it unforgettable.

The soft desert light created magical moments throughout the day, Alissa changed nto a post ceremony dress which reflected the golden hour light perfectly! I found myself completely absorbed in capturing not just their love, but also the raw beauty of the surroundings.

Being flown to photograph this intimate elopment wedding was a reminder of how fortunate I am to document these love stories, often in extraordinary places like Joshua Tree!

Alissa and Quinn got ready in a nearby air b&b in Cactus City and then had their first look outside in the garden surrounded by the desert. this was so emotional! They then set of with their family and friends on the drive through the nation park to the most beautiful spot for their ceremony. They decided to say thier personalised vows in private, so we found a secluded spot amongst the huge rock formations. They then went on to say “I do” underneath the most magical Josha Tree whilst their family and friends looked on. The celebrations started swiftly afterwards and Alissa spraying the champage over everyone was a real highlight!…

Wafa and Joey, A Hacienda Wedding Mexico…

Flying to Mexico to photograph Wafa and Joey’s wedding at an ancient hacienda, was nothing short of magical! From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a unique experience and it’s a wedding I’ll never forget! They flew from LA with their family and friends to marry at the ancient Hacienda de Cortes Cuernavaca.
The day began with an emotional first look between Wafa and Joey. Set against the hacienda’s ancient walls and gardens, the moment was so intimate and heartfelt. Wafa walked toward Joey, and when he turned round, his expression was priceless! The sunlight filtered through the leaves, creating an ethereal glow and I felt privileged to document such a special moment.

The ceremony took place in one of the huge caves in the hacienda’s grounds. The natural stone formations created a stunning, intimate setting that felt almost otherworldly. After the ceremony and the amazing speeches, the festivities continued with a reception that definitely embraced the spirit of Mexico! A mariachi band played getting everyone in the mood to dance and I loved capturing the colours and all the energy!
One of the evening’s highlights was the performance by talented belly dancers. Guests joined in and the tequila was brought out! The party continued late into the night and yes – I most certainly joined them!

Photographing this hacienda wedding in Mexico was a real highlight of the year for me!
